We are extremely excited to start offering bus tours and trips. Join us for a day trip to explore Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
On April 26th 2022, we will set out to explore one of the most iconic and historical sites of the American Civil War. We will visit the museum, view the cyclorama, see a short film, explore the battlegrounds and adventure through town to take in as many sites and sounds from the past as we can.
The Bus is scheduled to leave Morgantown, WV at 7am and Depart from Bruceton Mills, WV around 8am. You can choose which pick up location you would like to meet us at.
We will arrive in Gettysburg around 11am with our first stop at the visitors center. Here you will receive a boxed lunch. This will include your choice of sandwich or wrap, your choice of side salad, fresh fruit salad, double chocolate brownie, chips, bottle water and condiments. The group will view the cyclorama, tour the museum and watch a short film while visiting and exploring the visitor center.
The group will then board the bus and take a 2hr tour of the battlefield. An expert from the visitor center will join us on our bus and guide us though the battlefield. After this we will park near the town square and have a few hours to explore the town of Gettysburg. You can explore any of the museums, parks, restaurants, shops, historical sights or more that Gettysburg has to offer. You will have dinner on your own and board the bus to depart at 6:30pm.
We will arrive back to Bruceton Mills around 9:30pm and back to Morgantown around 10:30. I can arrange hotel stays in both Bruceton and Morgantown if your family would rather not drive once we return. Just ask đ
